For over 35 years, Four Seasons Hotel Chicago has been a cherished holiday destination, inviting guests to immerse themselves in festive joy and exceptional service. As the Hotel marks this milestone anniversary, it is reviving beloved traditions and welcoming new opportunities for guests to create lasting memories with family and friends.

To mark the occasion, we are bringing back our beloved Teddy Bear Tea with a twist, alongside exceptional feasts crafted by our talented culinary artisans,” says Stephen Wancha, Four Seasons Hotel Chicago General Manager. “From sparkling tree-lined streets, parks, and skyscrapers to premier holiday shopping and public markets, Chicago dazzles with enchanting moments. Starting November 23, 2024, the “Twelve Ways of Festive” returns with themed experiences and surprises, capturing the magic of the holiday season. Over the course of six weeks, guests can enjoy delightful activities, from gourmet treats crafted by the hotel’s talented chefs to family-friendly crafts and cookie decorating, all in the hotel’s lively social spaces.
The festivities kick off with the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival, where guests can witness breathtaking views of the iconic holiday parade from the newly designed junior ballroom, complete with special activities, food, and drinks for the whole family.
Twelve Ways of Festive Highlights:
- Festival of Lights | Celebrate the beginning of the holiday season with a view of the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival parade from the Lakeview Ballroom. This enchanting event, led by Mickey and Minnie Mouse, features festive floats, marching bands, fireworks, and the illumination of one million lights. Guests staying at the hotel can enjoy a front-row seat to this spectacular parade. Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 3:30 – 6:00 PM.
- Teddy Bear Tea | A beloved tradition returns as children and families enjoy a whimsical afternoon tea, where little ones can create their very own teddy bear. Sip on festive teas and indulge in sweet treats while making new holiday memories. Available Saturdays and Sundays, November 30 to December 22, 2024.
- Mile High Cocktail Club | Experience the glamour of the Mile High Cocktail Club, a hidden speakeasy with breathtaking views of the Gold Coast skyline. Sip expertly crafted cocktails while soaking in the dazzling sunsets. Reservations are required for this exclusive experience, available Wednesday through Saturday until March 1, 2025.
- Black Friday Brunch | Kick off your holiday shopping with a luxurious brunch at Adorn Restaurant. Each reservation comes with a $50 gift card to the nearby 900 Shops, perfect for a day of indulgence. Friday, November 29, 2024.
- Santa’s North Pole Breakfast | Join Santa Claus for a jolly breakfast filled with holiday fun and surprises. Guests are invited to participate in a toy drive benefiting Chicago Cares and the Lawndale community. Sunday, December 15, 2024.
- Dive-In Holiday Movies | Enjoy family-friendly holiday movies at The Spa’s pool, complete with festive floaties, popcorn, and cookies. Saturdays in December at 7:00 PM.
- Letters to Santa | Young guests can send their Christmas wishes directly to Santa via the Hotel’s special mailbox, courtesy of Sammy the Skyscraper, the Hotel’s mascot. Every letter receives a special treat in return. Available daily starting November 28, 2024.
